Open Play Format

• Format: Open Play
• Scoring: First to 11 points
• Deuce: At 10-10, the next point wins (Sudden Death)
• Balls: Provided by the organizers
• Skill Level: Open to all skill levels

Open Play is for everyone. Meet new players, enjoy the game, and help build a welcoming pickleball community.

1. Queue System

• Scan the Open Play QR Code to log in and join the queue.
• Players must be logged in before joining a game.
• Queueing is on a first-come, first-served basis.

2. Log Out After Playing

• After your session, scan the Open Play QR Code again to log out.
• Please make sure to log out properly so the queue stays updated.

3. Beginner & Intermediate Queue

• Players may be categorized as Beginner or Intermediate to help create balanced games.
• However, all players will still follow the same queue based on their log-in time.
• Skill categories do not affect queue priority.

4. Court Rotation

• Games follow the Open Play rotation system to give everyone a fair chance to play.
• Once a game ends, players should exit the court promptly and allow the next group to play.

5. No Lock-In Partners

• To keep Open Play fair, social, and enjoyable for everyone, lock-in partners are not allowed.
• Players and opponents will be assigned based on the queue and rotation system, giving everyone the opportunity to play with different people.

6. Game Format

• Games are played to 11 points.

• Standard pickleball rules apply.

7. Fair Play & Sportsmanship

• Respect all players, regardless of skill level.
• Play safely and avoid aggressive or dangerous behavior.
• Good sportsmanship is expected at all times.

8. Be Ready When Called

• Stay near the court while waiting for your turn.
• If you are not present when called, your slot may be given to the next available players.

9. Court Courtesy

• Wait outside the playing area until it’s your turn.
• Do not interrupt ongoing games.
• Keep personal belongings in designated areas.

10. Equipment & Cleanliness

• Use paddles and court facilities responsibly.
• Return borrowed equipment after use.
• Help keep the courts clean by disposing of trash properly.
